A Glimpse into History

The Malta Classic has grown from its inaugural event in 2007, organized by French entrepreneur and classic car enthusiast Thierry Giovannoni, to a beloved annual celebration of vintage motorsport. Initially held on Valletta’s ring road, the event moved to Mdina in 2011, where it continues to blend historical charm with the excitement of classic car racing. Last year, over 65 pre-1976 cars participated, with participants from across Europe. This year promises even more spectacular entries, adding to the rich legacy of the Malta Classic.
