The iconic Mdina Grand Prix returns for its 14th edition

Get ready, motorsport fans! The iconic Mdina Grand Prix returns for its 14th edition from the 10th to the 13th of October 2024, promising a great experience for both participants and spectators. This year’s event will feature classic vehicle racing in Mtahleb on the 10th of October, followed by a weekend of races outside the fortified ancient capital of Mdina on the 12th and 13th of October.

The Malta Classic’s famed Grand Prix kicks off with the hillclimb event at the Mtahleb Hill Climb Circuit, where classic vehicles will be pushed to their limits. Friday offers a fantastic opportunity for spectators to admire a selection of beautifully maintained classic cars on display, showcasing their elegance and historical significance.

Saturday’s races will challenge the vehicles on a demanding track that weaves through a scenic valley of vineyards and terraced hills. The day’s events culminate in timed drives, which will determine the starting order for Sunday’s main event. The Mdina Grand Prix on Sunday promises more action with cars racing side by side, delivering a great display and plenty of action.

Ticket Types Explained

Paddock

Paddock tickets grant you access to the racing paddock, where you can get up close to the cars, take pictures, and interact with the drivers.

VIP Area

The VIP Area, located in the Tomba Gardens above the paddock, offers an exclusive experience with free-flowing water, coffee, and finger food. VIP guests also have access to the Grandstand via a dedicated shuttle bus and can enjoy all the perks of the paddock area.

Grand Stand

The Grandstand, situated at the end of the starting grid, provides a unique vantage point to witness the race’s intense first corner action. Accessed via a dedicated shuttle bus circulating through key locations, the Grandstand also features food stalls and toilets for convenience.
