New Leadership Takes the Wheel at the Malta Drag Racing Association
In a significant stride towards enhancing the future of drag racing in Malta, the Malta Drag Racing Association recently held its inaugural meeting under the newly elected committee. The primary focus of the meeting was to finalize the committee’s structure and assign roles to its elected members.
Following a series of positive discussions and a unanimous sense of enthusiasm, the committee is now officially structured as follows:
- President: Gabriel Briffa
- General Secretary: Clint D’Amato
- Treasurer: Jean Paul Cauchi
- Events Organiser: Konrad D’Anastasi
- Maintenance/Safety Officer: Horatius Caruana
- Charles Charlie Camilleri
- Frankie Ellul
- Conrad Busuttil
- Nikola Schembri
Gabriel Briffa takes the helm as the President of the Malta Drag Racing Association, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a passion for motorsports. Clint D’Amato assumes the crucial role of General Secretary, responsible for managing the association’s administrative affairs. Jean Paul Cauchi will be handling the financial reins as Treasurer, ensuring the fiscal health of the association.
The responsibility of orchestrating exciting and seamless events falls on the capable shoulders of Konrad D’Anastasi, who takes on the role of Events Organiser. Safety and maintenance, paramount in any motorsport, will be overseen by Horatius Caruana, who steps into the role of Maintenance/Safety Officer.
The committee members, including Charles Charlie Camilleri, Frankie Ellul, Conrad Busuttil, and Nikola Schembri, bring a diverse set of skills and experiences to the table. Their collective passion for drag racing will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of the association.
